On Wednesday, January 4, a New Orleans BioTech firm will launch THEODENT Chocolate-based toothpaste. The company made over two years ago with the discovery that an extract of chocolate alternative to fluoride in fighting tooth decay. That research is now THEODENT toothpaste, which will hit store shelves this week. the patented Rennou™, a proprietary blend including a naturally- found in chocolate. The discovery stems from research conducted Tulane, LSU and the University of New Orleans. Company founders research at a product launch news conference on January 4 at Orleans BioInnovation Center at 1441 Canal Street.
