Why cacao instead of fluoride?
Most toothpaste uses fluoride. Theodent® uses Rennou®, our patented technology, powered by a compound found in cacao, the plant better known for what it becomes: chocolate. In a 2013 laboratory study, about 71 times less theobromine than fluoride, on a molar basis, produced comparable remineralization of artificial enamel lesions (Caries Research, 2013). Theodent Kids is not harmful if accidentally swallowed.
